Over the last six years Homebush Boys has used Private Providers to run courses that will benefit students when they leave school. This term 30 students from Year 12 undertook the Responsible Serving of Alcohol and the Responsible Conduct of Gambling. This certification is a prerequisite for persons to work in the hotel industry. Some students who took the courses intend pursuing careers in the hospitality industry while others see it as an opportunity to get qualifications which will allow them to work part-time while undertaking further full time study.
